We know how important it is to you to pass your UK university degree well, so to assist all non-native speaker students, Southampton Language College offers a number of services to students already enrolled at university.
Essay/dissertation/Assignment Proof-reading
It is vital that you present your university essays with perfect grammar, use of vocabulary and spelling. At Southampton Language College, we will provide you with a classroom and a university educated native speaker teacher who will proof-read your work with you so that it meets the highest standards of English.
Your tutor will be helpful and ask you questions about the concepts, facts or arguments you wish to express in your written work.
We charge only £25 an hour for this essential service and you will be able to present written work where you do not have to worry about the English.
University Presentation Skills
If you have a difficult presentation to give on your university course, we can provide you with assistance on the English language you use in your presentation. A university educated teacher will observe a rehearsal of your presentation in one of our modern and comfortable classrooms and provide detailed notes and feedback on your English language usage. This service is charged at £25 per hour and can make a huge difference to the grade you receive from your university tutor!
Important note: Your Southampton Language College tutor can only improve on your English language usage in your written work or presentations. Your basic research, choice of information and the views you express are your responsibility.
